Crushing and grinding:
In our commitment to tradition, the ancient bull-driven kolhu/ghana/mara chekku has evolved into a motor-based counterpart crafted from Vagai wood. With an optimal 14 rotations per minute (RPM) and a controlled room temperature, NURTURA's wooden churner ensures the authenticity of cold-pressed oils.

Nutrient Retention:
Our wooden churner rotates at only 14 RPM speed and does not generate high temperature and retain more of the nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids present in the source material. Heat-sensitive compounds, such as polyphenols and enzymes, are less likely to be degraded during the wooden cold-pressing process.
Raw materials:
We source high quality oil seeds from various parts of the country suitable for oil extraction. Seeds are cleaned and sun-dried to remove impurities, moisture and contaminants to prepare these premium handcrafted oils.
Natural sedimentation:
A natural sedimentation process is being followed after the extracted oils get stored in food grade steel containers.
